Experience

The St. Cloud Eye Clinic is one of the most respected eye clinics in Minnesota, attracting patients from throughout the United States and internationally. Founded in the 1920’s, the St. Cloud Eye Clinic was one of the first ophthalmology practices in the Midwest. In central Minnesota, our doctors were the first to perform modern cataract surgery with intraocular lenses, phacoemulsification, clear cornea, no sutures and no injections. Their leadership in advanced techniques made cataract surgery with eye drop anesthesia and without sutures the standard of care in central Minnesota. They were also the first to perform refractive surgery in central Minnesota starting with radial keratotomy in 1985 and lasik in 1995. Over 33,000 surgical procedures have been performed in the last 15 years alone.

Surgical Center

The St. Cloud Center for Ophthalmic Surgery opened in 2003. It was the first surgical center in central Minnesota dedicated to eye surgery. For your convenience, this state of the art facility is located in the same building as our eye clinic. Our highly qualified staff provide the highest level of patient care in the most professional manner. When it comes to patient care and results, only the best surgical instruments and materials are used.

The St. Cloud Center for Ophthalmic Surgery, which opened in 2003, is the only eye specialty surgical center in central Minnesota.
